Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been doing some light training as he recovers from shoulder surgery.
The England international has shared his latest progress on social media;
“Happy Monday,” tweeted Marcus Rashford. “I see the doctor on Friday for a consultation.
“All being well, I will get the green to join in with contact training again.”
The 23-year-old attacker has not been involved in the new season so far but could be back soon once he resumes his usual routine.
Rashford’s return would be a boost to the Red Devils’ strike force after the underwhelming performance against Aston Villa.
Manchester United, in the game, attempted several shots but failed to get even half of them on target. Mason Greenwood, in particular, was criticized by fans for not passing the ball enough.
Last season, Marcus Rashford scored 20 goals across competitions for the Red Devils despite injury troubles and patchy form.
